Arkin Named 2016 "Cool Vendor" in Enterprise Networking by Gartner

Arkin, a leader in the software-defined data center security and operations market, today announced that they have been named a "Cool Vendor" in the recently published "Cool Vendors in Enterprise Networking, 2016" report by Gartner (News - Alert) Inc. Arkin's Platform helps enterprises quickly and confidently adopt, integrate and deploy next-gen network virtualization and security technologies.

"Few make the cut for inclusion in this prestigious list, and we are honored by Gartner's selection," said Shiv Agarwal, co-founder & CEO, Arkin. "It is extremely rewarding to be recognized for Arkin's role in the migration towards a more modern and secure data center, and for our innovation and impact in the software-defined data center and enterprise networking space."

Arkin's Security and Operations Platform brings unprecedented visibility and converged operations to software-defined data centers (SDDC), and was designed with one principle in mind - to simplify data center operations. Featuring a radically simple Google (News - Alert) Search-like experience, Arkin Platform enables organizations to rapidly search, analyze, secure and cllaborate across virtual and physical layers of their infrastructure. The platform can be deployed on-premise or consumed as a service in the Arkin cloud (SaaS (News - Alert)).

Annually, Gartner recognizes a select number of Cool Vendors in key technology areas through a series of research reports that highlight industry innovation. For this year's Enterprise Networking report, Gartner evaluated the growing landscape of enterprise network solution providers to name five "Cool Vendors," of which Arkin was included.

"As SDN and SDDC gains traction, enterprises are seeking more collaborative, cross-domain management and visibility solutions for their data center operations," added Agarwal. "The world is fast moving towards more complex, distributed and virtualized infrastructures, and Arkin intends to play a pivotal role in the development of this market."
