Scale Computing Named Winner of Best Hardware Midmarket Solution at Midmarket CIO Forum

INDIANAPOLIS, Nov. 02, 2017 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Scale Computing, a market leader in hyperconverged solutions, today announced it won the “Best Midmarket Solution, Hardware” at the Midmarket CIO Forum produced by Boardroom Events. Scale bested Dell EMC, Nutanix and Green Revolution Cooling to win this prestigious industry award.

Presented at the Fall 2017 Midmarket CIO Forum, these accolades recognize the best in technology collaboration in the midmarket sector. The Vendor Excellence Awards celebrate providers that solve challenges with significant financial and overall business impact. This is another honor for Scale Computing’s HC3 platform this fall, as the company was also recognized at The Channel Company’s Midsize Enterprise Summit (MES) 2017 Fall Conference with XCellence Awards for “Best Midmarket Solution: Hardware,” “Best Boardroom” and “Best-of-Show.”

Scale Computing’s HC3 virtualization platform is a complete “datacenter in a box” with server, storage and virtualization interated in a single appliance to deliver simplicity, availability and scalability at a fraction of the cost of traditional infrastructures.

“Demands on IT in the midsized business community are continuing to rise exponentially, while struggles with cost structures and inefficiencies persist,” said Jeff Ready, CEO of Scale Computing. “With Scale Computing’s HC3, we are dedicated to providing organizations in this market with appropriate, cost-effective products and services that don’t give IT pros headaches as they expand and grow. While we love receiving award recognition, nothing is more rewarding than helping our customers succeed.”

Adam Waldron of Idaho Farm Bureau Insurance, a Scale customer, was also honored with the Midmarket CIO Award of Excellence. Idaho Farm Bureau Insurance modernized its IT infrastructure with Scale’s HC3 platform to support its wide variety of new technologies, including an integrated, cloud-based property and casualty insurance lifecycle solution.

“Idaho Farm Bureau Insurance saved millions of dollars over the lifetime of the equipment by reducing licensing and maintenance costs we’d been incurring across an array of vendors, helping to reduce infrastructure complexity,” said Adam Waldron, CIO of Idaho Farm Bureau Insurance. “With Scale Computing’s HC3, we were able to quickly build an offsite disaster recovery solution in addition to modernizing our infrastructure.”

Boardroom Events hosted the Fall 2017 Midmarket CIO Forum in Austin, Texas, Oct. 15-17. Midmarket CIO Forum is an engaging and informative venue for IT executives and solution providers focused on technologies for the midmarket.

Day 2, Cisco Live! 2017

Tuesday was Day 2 of Cisco Live for Fiber Mountain and we continued to experience high levels of traffic, with many high value decision makers and influencers visiting our booth.
