CyrusOne Aurora I and Aurora II Data Centers Awarded Three Green Globes for Environmental Leadership

(NASDAQ: CONE), a premier global REIT, today announced the Green Building Initiative (GBI), following a detailed review process, has awarded the ranking of Three Green Globes® for the Company's Chicago Aurora I and Aurora II Data Centers. The recognition for both data centers on the Aurora campus demonstrates CyrusOne's commitment to applying the best energy, water, and environmental efficiency practices.

Notable achievements from the Three Green Globes recognition include:

  • Robust monitoring of mechanical and electrical systems
  • Comprehensive facility energy management and sustainability policies implemented at both data centers
  • Implementation of a comprehensive purchasing and waste policy that incorporates CyrusOne's sustainability goals
  • Comprehensive green cleaning policy
  • Comprehensive refrigerant management plan

Tuesday was Day 2 of Cisco Live for Fiber Mountain and we continued to experience high levels of traffic, with many high value decision makers and influencers visiting our booth. One very interesting difference from most conferences I attend is that there are no titles on anyone's show badges. This allows open conversations without people being pretentious. I think this is a very good idea.

Fiber Mountain is exhibiting at Cisco Live! In Las Vegas for the first time ever! Our first day was hugely successful from just about any perspective - from quantity and quality of booth visitors to successful meetings with customers.
