New Partnership Means Better Network Infrastructure Moves
Many companies these days are engaged in transforming network infrastructure on one front or another, thanks to the rapidly-changing market and ever-growing quantities of applications that can be put to use therein. Recently, the Wanda Group got together with Microsoft Accelerator to help startups do more with current network infrastructure, pushing for a complete transformation therein.
The combined efforts of Microsoft Accelerator and the Wanda Group are focused primarily on China right now, reports note, specifically on the retail industry and relevant commercial properties. Microsoft Accelerator's Beijing arm has helped deliver new value to 140 Chinese startups, helping to bolster operations in big data analytics, artificial intelligence, hybrid cloud, and other modern, cutting-edge technology operations. With the Wanda Group's customer resources, meanwhile, these organizations can augment network infrastructure to the point where complete transformations are possible.
Wanda Group started its own network infrastructure transformation around three years ago, reports note, and since then has been working to deliver that kind of impact to other firms as well. Microsoft's support has helped deliver plenty of extra value in that effort, allowing things like Microsoft Azure to connect with Wanda's Building Information Modeling (BIM) and Intelligent Building Management systems.
Wanda Group's deputy general manager of IT Center Jennifer Feng commented, “Wanda Group and Microsoft share the same views on digital technology and business. Cloud computing, big data, IoT and artificial intelligence are the main drivers of the digital transformation of business. Wanda Group has rich insights and user data as the leader of commercial property and retail business in China and we will partner with Microsoft to bring startups closer to end customers. Microsoft Accelerator will also provide qualified startups to be enlisted as vendors for Wanda Group.”
Network infrastructure is the primary force that leads the way in terms of digital transformation; without proper network infrastructure in place,
how can a digital transformation ever really happen? Software can't truly exist without hardware, and so the necessary infrastructure has to be in place to make a digital transformation happen. With Microsoft and Wanda Group working together, the region's startups should be able to benefit substantially from the changes.
As the partnership carries on, we should only see more businesses taking advantage of the efforts between Microsoft and Wanda Group. That could ultimately get startups from other countries looking at the efforts staged here, and wondering about how network infrastructure changes might help their own operations.
