Gartner Gives Customers the Peer Insights Customers' Choice
Gartner, Inc.’s Peer Insights Customers' Choice is recognition program for vendors in six markets by verified end-user professionals. The company takes into account both the number of end-user reviews and the overall user ratings. The program has a submission period of twelve months prior to the eligibility cutoff date.
What are the criteria for the vendor who is might be entering this program? A prospective vendor must have 50 or more published reviews. The vendor must have an average overall rating of 4.200 stars or greater. The interested vendor also must have at least one product designated by Gartner research analysts as relevant to the market. Vendors with excessive concentrations from a specific geographic region, industry or non-enterprise users are not considered.
The company has announced the 2018 Gartner Peer Insights Customers' Choice for six markets: Client Management Tools, Cloud Access Security Brokers, CRM Lead Management, Data Management Solutions for Analytics, Operational Database Management Systems and Security Awareness Computer-Based Training.
"Gartner Peer Insights Customers' Choice is designed to help IT professionals make better purchase decisions by leveraging the knowledge and feedback by fellow verified end users," said Ken Davis, executive vice president, products and services, Gartner. "We work hard to ensure that all of the reviews are submitted by an IT professional or business user who has had experience purchasing, implementing and/or using the enterprise solution they are reviewing — free from conflicts of interest."
