Pica8 demonstrated its multivendor 100G switch fabric with the NEC ProgrammableFlow SDN Controller at the Open Networking Summit. The company boasts white-box solutions that now feature better specs, reliability, and global support. No longer for enterprise companies alone, a broader range of businesses are adopting next-gen white-box solutions.
ESpanix will be employing Coriant (using Coriant Groove) to connect data centers in Madrid. ESpanix Manager, Cristóbal López Cañas promises commitment to “enhancing our peering infrastructure to meet the evolving resiliency, security, and scalability needs of our members.” Coriant will join ESpanix at the ESNOG conference in Barcelona to showcase Groove G30, a solution featuring plug-and-play modular architecture.
This week, Alcide demonstrates its newly available Data Center and Cloud Operations Security Platform at AWS Summit in San Francisco. Complex business applications and IT resources nudged an introduction of innovated platforms that can easily manage and secure them. The company says, “Alcide’s platform provides visibility to cloud-native threat protection and network policy enforcement, providing enterprises with a wide and deep perspective.”
Rackspace joins forces with Switch, using their Tier 5 Platinum data center PRIME locations to deliver private cloud solutions and connectivity on AWS, Azure, and Google. Switch founder and CEO, Rob Roy says, “we are making it easier for customers with complex needs to have highly secure, reliable, and easy-to-use solutions.”
