Itential Integrates with Red Hat Ansible Network Automation
Itential has a new integration with Red Hat Ansible Network Automation.
Intelligent network automation company Itential will present at The Adaptive & Intent-Based Networking Expo. That’s a new event from TMC that will take place Jan. 30-Feb. 1 in Fort Lauderdale.
As for the new integration announced this week, that is possible via common APIs between Itential and Red Hat. And it aims to help IT operations and network engineering teams to create and execute network automation without writing code.
“Through the integration with Itential, we can extend Ansible automation deeper into organizations that may lack specific networking expertise,” said Justin Nemmers, general manager for Ansible at Red Hat. “Using Itential’s service orchestration capabilities with the powerful automation of Red Hat Ansible Tower helps to provide users an additional tool in automating within their organizations.”
Itential CTO and co-founder Chris Wade commented: “We have seen network engineers embrace Red Hat Ansible Network Automation. Now with the integration of Itential’s federated and network intelligent workflow builder with Ansible Network Automation, organizations have a more comprehensive set of technologies that can help accelerate their journey toward network automation.”
Wade will be the presenter for The Adaptive & Intent-Based Networking Expo session “The Intent-Based Landscape & How ML Can Accelerate Automation”.
In this session, Wade will provide an overview of the intent-based vendor ecosystem and address some misperceptions regarding intent-based technologies and their capabilities. Additionally, he will outline the various components that make up intelligent network automation with a specific focus on how machine learning can expedite the journey to automating the network. This presentation will take place Feb. 1 beginning at 9 a.m.
IBM, Infinera, Juniper Networks, KEMP Technologies, KodaCloud, Metaswitch, Netrolix, Nokia, Nyansa, Pax8, Radisys, and other companies will also present and be on panels as part of The Adaptive & Intent-Based Networking Expo program.
