Envision Technology Advisors Bringing "Village Green Virtual Annex" to the Nercomp 2015 Conference

PAWTUCKET, R.I., March 20, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Envision Technology Advisors and the Village Green Virtual Charter School will be appearing at the Nercomp Annual Conference and they will be bringing the "Village Green Virtual Annex" with them.

Held in Providence at the Rhode Island Convention Center from Monday, March 30th through Wednesday, April 1st, the Nercomp Annual Conference "explores hot topics in higher education IT." Envision and Village Green will be on hand to demonstrate the innovate technology solution that Envision architected for the school, a solution that caused Richard Culatta, the Director for the Office of Technology for US Department of Education, to say "this is how education should be delivered" when he visited the school in May of last year.

"We are excited to be able to not only talk about this solution at Nercomp, but to show it live on the show floor," says Envision's Director of Marketing, Jeremy Girard.

"We're bringing a really unique presentation to this event," adds Todd Knapp

For attendees interested in discussing how similar technology could be put to use in their schools or on their campus, Envision, along with Dell and Liquidware Labs, will also be hosting a cocktail reception on Tuesday evening of the event. Invitations to this reception will be available at Envision's booth, number 509 and 511.

I have been attending this seminal IT and networking conference since its inception in 1986 when it was called the TCP/IP Vendor Workshop, focused on interoperability of various TCP/IP program stacks.

What Fiber Mountain's Interop Recognition Means for Our Industry

When Fiber Mountain™ began its journey with a launch at Interop New York last fall, we certainly believed that we had a solution that would make a significant impact in the data center space.

What On-Board Optics Means for Density and Flexibility

This past week I read an article in Lightwave Magazine and another in Network World about the formation of the Consortium for On-board Optics (COBO), a group that seeks to create specifications and increase the faceplate density of data center switches and adapters.

Scaling Hyperscale in an Age of Exponential Growth and Virtualization

Over the past several years server, network, storage and application virtualization has revolutionized the way hyperscale data centers are built by consolidating workloads. The trend has simplified network architecture significantly and resulted in huge cost savings as well.
