Aricent announced a partnership with packet-optical, IP and SDN solution provider Coriant. The result: the integration of the Aricent NFV Management and Orchestration (MANO) framework to the support Coriant’s Transcend SDN Solution, providing network operators end-to-end NFV/SDN controls. The pairing is taking aim at a market pegged for explosive growth in the coming years. “This partnership reinforces Coriant's commitment to open networking and industry collaboration to enhance its customers' service delivery capabilities in multi-vendor, multi-layer, and multi-domain environments,” explained Filipe Caetano, Vice President, Product Management, Coriant. Tuesday was Day 2 of Cisco Live for Fiber Mountain and we continued to experience high levels of traffic, with many high value decision makers and influencers visiting our booth. One very interesting difference from most conferences I attend is that there are no titles on anyone's show badges. This allows open conversations without people being pretentious. I think this is a very good idea.

Fiber Mountain is exhibiting at Cisco Live! In Las Vegas for the first time ever! Our first day was hugely successful from just about any perspective - from quantity and quality of booth visitors to successful meetings with customers.
